KOOBA EXPANDS INTO KOREAN RETAIL AND HOME SHOPPING NETWORK MARKETS

The contemporary luxury handbag line KOOBA is expanding its distribution internationally to include not only retail locations in Seoul, Korea, but television sales through theHome Shopping Networkwith a diffusion line KOOBA NEW YORK. International brand strategist, Universify, LLC, represented both brands in their expansion plans and negotiated two five year agreements on behalf of AHQ-Accessory Headquarters, LLC, and their Korean licensee Flora Basic to sell the luxury handbag lines. The agreements provide for a minimum of 15 retail locations to be established which will showcase the KOOBA brand. The diffusion line, KOOBA NEW YORK, which will be sold through the Home Shopping Network,will be manufactured by AHQ and sold at a price point below $100, but retaining the distinctive KOOBA style and quality consumers have come to expect.

The initial collections for the Home Shopping Network are scheduled to be launched in November with the first Kooba retail locations to be opened in Spring of 2013 in Seoul.
Kooba can be found in major high end department stores such as Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom and Bloomingdales, as well as better specialty doors across the country.
